winter wedding wednesday

If you don't already know I am doing a winter wedding post every Wednesday in honor of my sister in law getting married this February.  Casie's engagement photos are scheduled to be taken this weekend and I came across some adorable ideas other people have done for their engagement shots.

winter wedding wednesday

Let's face it, other than actually getting married and having a great time the main objective of a wedding is to end up with beautiful pictures capturing the moment.  I came across a few fun photo ideas I wanted to share...

I wouldn't say this bed is a Designer's dream, but this skylight is everyone's dream isn't it?  To be able to lay down and stair up at the stars at night or watch rain drops as they fall would be amazing!  This is definitely on my wish list of "things to get when I become incredibly wealthy".

Brrrrrrr, a wedding on February 23rd in the mountains of Colorado is bound to get a little chilly.  Here are some adorable ways to cover up on your wedding day:

I just love everything about this picture, very rustic chic

This shows you that you don't need to go out and
purchase a special coat on your wedding day,
this is so adorable and it looks like a basic black
wool coat and a circle scarf.

Of course I needed to include a picture of Kate!

I think the tough part with a sweater over a ball gown is that it can tough to define a waist with such a
full skirt.  This tie around the cardigan does the trick!

Even rain didn't ruin her day, she ended up with these fantastic pictures out of the bad weather

I was perusing houzz and came across some ideas for some nice, and might I say classy, Halloween decorations.  Now I am not much for holiday decor but if I did decorate for Halloween this would be the route I would take...
