the perfect nude

I was chatting with a few co-workers yesterday (you know who you are :)) about the difficulty of finding the perfect nude nail polish....right after our foreign policy debate of course.  Either it's too sheer, to white, to pink, etc...  And if you happen to see a perfect color on someone else it just never quite looks the same on you!  A couple of us just happened to go out for mani's and pedi's last night and I think I finally found my perfect color....

I was looking around on Refinery29 the other day and came across an article listing the top 12 trends seen in New York Fashion Week with staying power.  I'm not sure if I agree with all of them, what do you think?

best hair product I have found to date!

We all know it is best for our hair health to not wash our hair everyday.  But as we all know it can be difficult to make your hair look decent in between washes....enter Batiste!

I recently came across this dry shampoo and having tried other dry shampoos this one is above and beyond.  It actually does what it claims!  Not only does it remove the oil it actually adds body to your hair.  OK, enough with the infomercial (and no they aren't paying me), but I haven't found I product I have liked this, well ever.  You can buy it at Ulta, just click the link below and enjoy!

I have been put to the task of helping Casie (the winter wedding bride and my sister in-law) figure out the makeup for the wedding.  I have found all types of different ideas as far as makeup goes, which would you prefer?
