home office decisions

I think I have finally made some decisions after tons of searching for the right pieces for my home office.  I am trying to do this on a very tight budget but get pieces that really work for what I need.  What do you think?





5' x 7' Urban Outfitters Rug: $74.00




71"W x 31"D Ikea dining table as the desk: $219.00



31"W x 15"D x 59"H Ikea Bookshelf.  I will turn this on it's side, place it behind my desk to act as my credenza: $69.99





    For my DIY project I think I will search for some old frames, paint them and put cork in the frames for my inspiration boards, similar to this...

home office

I am still thinking about what I want to do to my home office and I keep coming across inspirational images.  Which is your favorite?



These first two pictures are probably my favorite.  I love the vintage looking desk and all of the storage cubbies but, the main question is...do I put the desk in the center of the room or...





Against the wall?  How cozy does this chair look?  Might as well be as comfortable as possible while working.



I don't love the rug or sofa put I thought this was a great way to capitalize on the space of a small room.





This is a very eclectic room and although I would change the wall vinyl I love that it feels like a very creative space.

I just so happen to be looking into home office ideas, take a look at what I have come across lately...

Love this one for basement office ideas!

I like that this one is all built in, it feels substantial but not
overpowering in this small space

This is more the way my job actually ends up working
so this appealed to me, I do love organized bins and
layout tables!



Anyone have an extra closet?  Make it an office!



More of an organized station but would work really well
in a kitchen.
